AI4DI project organised the "AI & Edge for Industrial IoT" Session at IoT Week 2021 - Online Edition, where Technical University of Munich (Germany), Technical University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden (Germany), and SINTEF (Norway) presented specific edge AI and IIoT technologies and applications developed during the AI4DI project. The session included a presentation from STMicroelectronics (France), covering the AI technology developments in the ANDANTE (ECSEL JU) project. The following three presentations were held:

  • Josip Josifovski, TUM, Germany "Deep Reinforcement Learning Used in Trajectory Optimisation for Industrial Robots in Automotive Manufacturing"
  • Mathias Schneider, OTH, Germany " Open Traffic Data for Mobility-as-a-Service Applications"
  • Ovidiu Vermesan, SINTEF, Norway " AI and IIoT-based Predictive Maintenance Solutions for Industrial Processes"
